AEW All Out Predictions

Who will be in Cody’s corner?

Pre-show predictions for AEW’s All Out…

PRIVATE PARTY VS. ANGELICO & JACK EVANS
Honestly, I haven’t seen too much of Private Party since they have been relegated to pre-show and battle royal matches thus far. I was very impressed with Evans and Angelico back at Double or Nothing in their loss to Best Friends, but one would think AEW would want to work on getting Private Party ready for their Week 2 matchup with The Young Bucks.
WINNERS: PRIVATE PARTY

21 WOMEN CASINO BATTLE ROYAL
There are so many viable options to choose from in this match and that’s only with the eight or nine announced participants. Awesome Kong being confirmed is a game changer – expect many eliminations from her to build her as the dominant force she is, but Nyla Rose needs to be put in that same position, too. Imagine them as a tag team together! Ivellise coming in, along with the return of Jazz, will bring some new-school and old-school into the match and likely leave some bruises that’ll be felt tomorrow morning. Teal Piper’s debut will be the dark horse story of the match to see what she can do. I have to go with the woman that has been promoted as the face of the women’s division since the first press conference back in January. The Doctor will see everyone in the ring and look to extract herself a title shot on October 2.
WINNER: BRITT BAKER

Main card predictions for AEW’s All Out…

SOCAL UNCENSORED VS. LUCHASAURUS, JUNGLE BOY, MARKO STUNT
Just a boy, his dinosaur, and…I’m not sure how Marko Stunt fits into it just yet, but I’m sure we’ll figure it out sooner than later. The other side consists of three badass dudes who never found a town that they actually liked, outside of Southern California that is. This will likely be a good showcase for Stunt, Jungle Boy and Luchasauras as SCU always does good about letting their opponents display their talents regardless of the result, but I’m not holding out hope for a victory for that trio just yet.
WINNERS: SOCAL UNCENSORED

RIHO VS. HIKARU SHIDA
I have never seen a Hikaru Shida match, but I’ve read nothing but good things and upon reading the dirt sheets, it’s said that this match will be no different. Riho has been on display on all AEW shows thus far. Upper management loves her and that’s why she has gotten the victories that she has so far. The momentum for Riho should continue forward, but does it lead to the AEW Women’s Championship on October 2?
WINNER: RIHO

DARBY ALLIN VS. JOEY JANELA VS. JIMMY HAVOC
This could be the sleeper match of the night. Havoc has displayed that he’ll use anything from papercuts and staple guns to get a win. Janela already had a deathmatch-style affair in the main event of Fyter Fest and Darby Allin already attempted to put himself in a wheelchair during his match with Cody. This will be a brawl, a fight and quite possibly a massacre. It’ll be hard to choose a winner, but I don’t think any of these guys are going to feel like winners Sunday morning.
WINNER: DARBY ALLIN

CODY W/? VS. SHAWN SPEARS W/ TULLY BLANCHARD
First things first, I’m falling for the dirt sheet rumors on this and predicting that Cody’s second will be Arn Anderson. It makes sense considering the storyline buildup and it would be a big middle finger to WWE with the circumstances regarding Arn’s firing back in February. This is going to be a great match and the most emotional match of the show. It has the best story going in and I don’t think it ends on this night. I do smell a swerve in the mix. If it is Arn, he could turn on Cody and reunite with Tully and begin a new Four Horsemen-style group led by Spears to run through the AEW roster and create storyline for months to come.
WINNER: SHAWN SPEARS W/ TULLY BLANCHARD

LUCHA BROTHERS VS. YOUNG BUCKS
I’ve seen enough Young Bucks ladder matches and each of them increase the danger factor – their last one was back in December for ROH and Nick Jackson almost had a horrible accident falling off a ladder. With as crazy as Fenix and Pentagon are, they would likely compliment the craziness of the Bucks. This has the potential to be match of the year if done correctly and, hopefully, safely. I’m going to be saying many prayers during this match and hope that they will be ok come Sunday morning.
WINNERS: LUCHA BROTHERS

BEST FRIENDS VS. THE DARK ORDER
There is still little known about The Dark Order, unless you’ve seen a lot of Super Smash Bros matches. In the few appearances Stu Grayson and Evil Uno have had, they have looked impressive and dominant each time. I expect nothing less here, but I do expect that Best Friends will give a great showing. What better way to get a heel time over than by having them stomp their way into the finals by getting an early bye. I don’t see The Dark Order winning the Tag Team Titles, but it wouldn’t shock me if they quickly get into the finals due to the bye.
WINNERS: THE DARK ORDER

PAC VS. KENNY OMEGA
It’s a shame that we lost John Moxley for this night, but AEW made right by giving us a “suitable replacement” in PAC. Now that PAC is back in the mix, a match with Hangman Page is sure to happen to make good on what was missed back at Double or Nothing. A win by PAC here can make him a superstar to the AEW fan base, more than he already is, whereas Omega could lose the rest of the year and not lose any momentum at all. After all, his nickname is “Best Bout Machine.” PAC will likely use evil ways to get the win and build himself toward an AEW World Title shot regardless of who the champion is.
WINNER: PAC

ADAM PAGE VS. CHRIS JERICHO
Regardless of who wins, both men will eventually have their names on record as being AEW World Champion. The question is who gets there first. The feel-good story would be going off the air with Hangman holding the title high above as fireworks and confetti fall from the sky. However, we all know that in wrestling there is more interest in the dastardly heel getting his. It’s not always about the reign as much as it is the story of the chase for the title. Think about Ric Flair in NWA/WCW, Jeff Jarrett in TNA and every John Cena reign since 2008 (ok, I’m stretching there). You loved it when they all lost the titles to the men who deserved it most and Jericho would fit this position best. While I don’t think that Y2Judas will be getting his “Thank You” he’s demanded, he’ll definitely get the AEW World Title and someone is going to show up and step ahead of the line to become the #1 contender.
WINNER AND NEW AEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: CHRIS JERICHO
