Predicting WWE Superstar Shakeup 2019

Who will get switched from Raw to SmackDown, and vice versa?

(Checks watch) IT’S SHAKEUP TIME!!!

Here we are, boys and girls. WrestleMania is over, as is the much anticipated post-Mania Raw and SmackDown. Now we all can dream about who flips to another show and ways to improve them. As you know, I am much more pro-SmackDown than Raw and SmackDown actually made out pretty well last year, which means it will probably get shafted this year. If Vinny Mac was smart, he would want the Blue Brand to be stacked, being that it starts airing on Fox this year.

My predictions this year will be sans the women’s division. With The Man holding both titles, and with the Tag Team Champs seemingly allowed on both shows, I don’t know how they are going to handle the division as a whole. I am also going to leave out the nobodies. Does anyone care if Mojo Rawley goes to SmackDown?

So, I am going to give 10 predictions for who I think is going elsewhere.

Finn Balor goes to SmackDown.

I said this should have happened last year. Although he is Intercontinental Champion, he needs this change even more this year. Get him away from the garbage feuds with Lashley and Elias. There are much better feuds awaiting him on SmackDown.

Samoa Joe goes back to Raw.

If SmackDown gets the IC Title, then the U.S. Title has to go to Raw. No shot SD will have all the singles titles. It is certainly within the realm of possibility to have either Finn or Joe drop their title Monday or Tuesday, but I am going to bet that they keep their respective gold.

Daniel Bryan goes to Raw.

I would absolutely HATE if this happens, but for some reason, I just feel that either he or AJ is going to Raw. Since SmackDown is the house that AJ Styles built, he stays. Bryan should absolutely stay on SmackDown, I cannot be more clear about that. The only positive to D-Bry potentially going to Raw would be the possibility of a feud with Seth Rollins.

Drew McIntyre goes to SmackDown.

I would happily keep him on Raw if Bryan stayed on SmackDown. But his appearance last Tuesday was just a taste of what’s to come. McIntyre will be world champ sooner rather than later, and I can see him making a big impact on SmackDown.

Sheamus stays on Smackdown; Cesaro gets shipped to Raw.

The SmackDown announce team had to say 43 times during the main event that The New Day or The Bar could be split up. That leads me to believe a team will be split up, but I don’t see it being The New Day. That means The Bar is closed for good.

The Uso Penitentiary breaks ground on Raw; The Revival become Top Guys of the SmackDown tag division.

There has to be at least one team swap. While there is a possibility that the Tag Team Champions get swapped, it would be insanely lame to have Hawkins and Ryder swapped to SmackDown as the champs. They could drop the titles to The Revival on Raw and then have them swapped with The Hardyz, but I am going to stick with my initial pick.

Randy Orton goes to Raw.

The Viper has run his course on SmackDown. He could use a fresh start on Raw, maybe feud with Roman Reigns and have a throwaway title feud with Seth Rollins.

Sami Zayn will stay on SmackDown and re-open his feud with Kevin Owens, but with the roles reversed.

Pete Dunne will debut for Raw at some point soon. It will be one of those “Coming Soon” videos.

The Undisputed Era will shock the system and debut on SmackDown.

Along the same lines of Pete Dunne, The Undisputed Era will also get a “Coming Soon” video. It’s totally stupid if you ask me, though. They should both be surprises. Undisputed Era should show up and wreak havoc on the roster. We need another dominant stable. Imagine the pop of the crowd when their music hits, if you leave it a surprise. Think of the possibilities if my predictions come true. Undisputed Era vs. The Club? Would be phenomenal stuff.

I can’t wait to see how the shakeup…well, shakes out.
