Who Wins The Royal Rumble 2022? Predictions and Odds

The Royal Rumble begins in less than five days, and once again, our wrestling stars will take it out in the ring to see who’s the ultimate champ. The date is set, and the venue is ready. On 29th January at the Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri, the superstars will fight on what can only be termed as a must-watch match card.

The match card has six matches, each of which is interesting and is bound to have fans up on their feet with anxiety and excitement. Will it be Brock Lesnar “The Beast” and WWE Champion who wins his duel? Maybe. Or, who will be the only one left standing in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match? Only time will tell.

Brock Lesnar Vs. Bobby Lashley | WWE Championship

Brock Lesnar “The Beast” and Bobby Lashley “The Almighty” will have an intense showdown to see who will be the new WWE Champion. Currently, Lesnar holds the title, but Lashley aims to take the crown for himself. The Fatal 5-Way and 4-Way matches on WWE Day1 clearly showed how monstrous these two could be in the ring.

But who will win in this match? Lesnar has a -230 odd, making him the favorite, while Lashley has a +160 odd, making him the underdog. Even though predictions point to Lesnar retaining his belt, all that I know is that it’s not going to be easy.

Roman Reigns Vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins | Universal Championship

Talk about fate. It’s as if these two are always destined to have a date in the ring. Roman Reigns “The Big Dog” and Seth “Freakin” Rollins have repeatedly found themselves in the squared circle as adversaries and allies. However, the last time they wrestled was back in October 2019 on Smackdown.

This time, the bar is high, and the Universal Championship is up for grabs. Reign’s record speaks for itself as top stars like Lesnar, Edge, and John Cena have suffered defeat in his hands. Rollins is also a force to reckon with as this isn’t his first time trying for the Universal Championship.

What do the bookmakers think? Reigns seems to be the likely winner with a -240 odd, while Rollins has a +165 odd. No matter who takes the title, one thing I’m sure of is that this is going to be a lively match.

Edge & Beth Phoenix Vs. The Miz & Maryse

One of the highlights of the Royal Rumble 2022 is definitely this superstars’ spouse match. Edge and Beth will be going against The Miz and Maryse, and with so much tension between them, it will be an all-out war. Maryse has for the longest time caught Edge off-guard and helped her better half, the Miz, win matches.

To avenge this, Edge crushed the couple’s renewal of wedding vows event and splashed brood ooze all over their all-white affair. It’s these sideshows that make you know this match is going to be hilarious.

However, if your focus is on who will win the match, Edge and Beth are the favorites at -500, while The Miz and Maryse are the underdogs at +300.

Becky Lynch Vs. Doudrop | Raw Women’s Championship

Becky Lynch will be defending her Raw Women’s Championship title against Doudrop, and if she’s not careful, we might have a new champ. Even though Becky joined the Triple threat match between Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, and Doudrop and helped the latter win, we expect them not to hold back.

Lynch is a beast in the ring, and Doudrop is a force of nature, so it’s not going to be an easy match. However, after giving Lynch a -1200 odd and Doudrop a +750 odd, the highest so far, bookmakers seem decided. Much confidence is on Becky retaining her title, but who knows?

30-Man Royal Rumble Match

Two men will start the match, many more will come, and many more will fall. In the end, only one will be left standing. The 30-Man Royal Rumble is always packed with heat, and the list released by WWE shows stars like Big E, AJ Styles, Brock Lesnar, Kevin Owens, Sheamus, Rey Mysterio, and many more will be in the squared circle. The ring will have a new contender once the buzzer hits every 90 seconds.

While it can be hard to point out one winner for the match, you can predict a few who are likely to make it to the final round and win. According to Betonline, the highest odds of +350 go to Big E and Brock Lesnar. Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre come in second with odds of +800. In third place, we have AJ Styles with +1200 odds.

30–Woman Royal Rumble Match

The Road to WrestleMania 38 will include one lucky woman who will win the 30-Woman Royal Rumble Match. With Superstars and legendary WWE Hall of Famers, we expect the match to be as competitive as ever. Some stars looking to avoid elimination in the ring include Charlotte Flair, Liv Morgan, Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Mickie James, and Bianca Belair.

Bianca Belair seems the most likely to win with favorite odds of +300, and Bayley comes in second at +550. Alexa Bliss is a close third at +600, and fourth place is Rhea Ripley at +800. Sasha Banks closes the top five list at +1200.
