Justin Credible Coming To PretzelMania III

Bigger! Better! Saltier!

We’re just days away from the biggest spectacle in professional wrestling, an event that New Jersey is sure to never forget.

I’m not talking about WrestleMania 35…I’m talking about PretzelMania III!

The tagline is “Bigger! Better! Saltier!” and by God, I’m thirsting for some Bavarian brutality. PretzelMania II was the most fun wrestling event I attended last year, and that includes WrestleMania 34, Bound For Glory and a slew of independent shows.

World-1 Wrestling, in association with P.O.A.C. (Parents Of Autistic Children), presented the superdough at The Dugout in Morganville, New Jersey. If you’ve never been to The Dugout, it’s a 15,000 sq. ft. baseball and softball training facility with batting cages and artificial turf – a unique, yet perfect venue for wrasslin’.

While it was an interactive, family-friendly affair that Auntie Anne would approve of, the main event took things to the extreme as “The Bulldozer” Matt Tremont unsuccessfully challenged World-1 Heavyweight Champion Travis Lee in the first Pretzel Deathmatch.

This year, we’re getting another dose of hardcore as former ECW World Heavyweight Champion Justin Credible is scheduled to appear. Whether he gets involved in the action or simply meets and greets the fans, one thing is for sure: expect the unexpected at PretzelMania III.

Jay D. Luscious found that out the hard way last year. After losing a tag team match, Mr. Ooh La La helped Luscious get back to his feet. As the crowd cheered the former champions for their effort, Ooh La La turned on his partner, decapitating the “Glittery Mammoth” with a vicious closeline. Boos rained down as the veteran stomped away on Luscious, screaming that the event was supposed to be about him. Hocking a loogie before retreating to the back, Mr. Ooh La La certainly left PretzelMania feeling salty.

On March 30, Luscious heads back to The Dugout to face Teddy Fine, who hasn’t competed in World-1 Wrestling for 10 years. A wrestling fan since the late 1980s, Luscious certainly appreciates the nod to nostalgia with these PretzelMania events. More of a Ultimate Warrior fan than a Hulkamaniac, the former World-1 Heavyweight Champion actually broke into the company by filming its events. “A guy didn’t show up one time, so I was asked if I wanted to perform,” Luscious told The Wrestling Estate. Over time, he was showed the ropes by another ECW star – Steve Corino. “I was lucky to get that knowledge and training,” he said.

Also scheduled for PretzelMania III, World-1 Heavyweight Champion Travis Lee joins forces with Dan Winant to battle KTB and a mystery partner.

Slug was originally scheduled to defend the New Jersey Championship against Kyle Kristopher in a career vs. title match, but Abs Armstrong won the title on March 10 in Jackson, NJ. According to the company’s Facebook page, Armstrong will defend the title at PretzelMania III. It’s uncertain how that will affect his World-1 Tag Team Championship match along with fellow Wet Blanket Greg Spitz, as they’re slated to defend against UWA Elite Tag Team Champions Bull Metal Jacket – Brandon the Bull & King Tek.

Also in action, former ECWA Heavyweight Champion Mike Law will defend the World-1 Television Title against “The Machine” Sam Shields.

Pelle Primeau, who had the match of the night with KTB last year, will go one on one with Chris Rockwell for the first time at PretzelMania III. Plus, Malvado Dragon meets Jihad in a special tryout match, in which the winner earns a spot on the W1 roster!

Last but certainly not least, El Mascara de Carbon plans to return on March 30. Last time he was in the company, he defeated then-W1 champion Chris Rockwell in a non title match. After the match, he unmasked and revealed himself to be Adam Cole! Who will don the mask this time?

PretzelMania III takes place Saturday, March 30, at The Dugout in Morganville, New Jersey.
