Wednesday Conversation w/ John Corrigan – May 5, 2023

The Wrestling Estate is debuting a new weekly feature over on The Wrestling Estate YouTube channel.

Editor in Chief Jack Goodwillie will sit down with former Editor in Chief John Corrigan for a weekly longform discussion on modern wrestling, among other topics.

This week, the two touched on some of the big picture topics in wrestling such as WWE’s sale to Endeavor and Vince McMahon‘s latest lawsuit before moving on to big picture topics such as the importance of storylines in wrestling.

They also discuss how non-wrestling media such as the Rocky series of films (with apologies to CM Punk) should be deployed by wrestlers and writers to create stronger long-term narratives. The two had some fun at the end of the show, as Corrigan names some AEW stars he thinks the company should build around over the next couple years. Some names will surprise!
