Hell In A Cell 2021 Odds

Hell in a Cell takes place June 20.

Believe it or not, we have another WWE pay-per-view extravaganza on the horizon.

This one has a storied history, a gruesome legacy and comes with a graphic warning for the faint of heart. Although there might not be bloodshed, carnage is guaranteed. That’s right, I’m talking about Hell in a Cell.

Although traditionally held in October, this year WWE has shuffled its schedule due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hell in a Cell 2021 will be the final PPV to emanate from the Thunderdome, as WWE will resume touring in July now that capacity restrictions have lessened throughout the United States. Without fans in attendance for this edition of the Devil’s Playground, there’s a lot more possibilities as to what mayhem may occur.

For instance, consider the top of the cage. After Mick Foley was tossed off the steel structure by Undertaker at King of the Ring 1998, we’ve come to expect the action to ascend somehow, someway. And we’re usually not disappointed: Triple H backdropped Cactus Jack through the Cell at No Way Out 2000, Undertaker chokeslammed Rikishi onto a the flatbed of a truck at Armageddon 2000 and Triple H pedigreed Chris Jericho on top at Judgement Day 2002.

If any of the current roster were to find their way atop the Cell this year, I’d choose Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre. After their physical encounter at WrestleMania, we know these two will hold nothing back. The stakes are even higher because if Lashley wins, McIntyre can no longer challenge for the WWE Championship as long as Lashley is champion. According to Sportsbettingdime, early odds indicate (-250) that Lashley will retain the WWE Championship against McIntyre at Hell in a Cell.

A more recent staple of the satanic structure has been the inclusion of weapons, such as steel chairs, kendo sticks, tables and even ladders. Who can forget when the Usos battered The New Day inside the Cell in 2017, which was one of the best Hell in a Cell matches of all time? Sure, it was excruciating, but certainly memorable. After all, there are no rules in Hell in a Cell, so why not use everything at your disposal to get the job done?

You can bet your bottom dollar that Bayley will retrieve something from under the ring. The early odds for the SmackDown Women’s championship match between Bianca Belair and Bayley indicate that Belair (-550) will retain her championship at Hell in a Cell.

Finally, there’s the WrestleMania 36 rematch between Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley and Charlotte. Odds indicate (-265) that Ripley will avenge her previous loss and walk out of Hell in a Cell still the champion.

Of course, all of these odds indicate that no titles will change hands at the event. Just another reason to order WWE Money in the Bank next month via Peacock!
