All Out Will Bring Paradigm Shift To AEW

We’ll finally see AEW’s version of Four Horsemen at All Out.

All Out is AEW’s equivalent to WrestleMania. What started as a challenge to sell 10,000 tickets turned into a weekly television program for Cody, Kenny and The Young Bucks. Now they must deliver once more with a highly anticipated pay-per-view.

Let’s start with an area AEW needs to improve on in a major way: women’s wrestling. The return of Britt Baker is a good start. Despite being out of action for most of her AEW run, she has delivered great promos and gathered a good amount of heat while being stuck to a wheelchair. Britt has confirmed that at All Out there will be no wheelchair and our “roll model” will be in action against Big Swole. She’s no push over either, bringing a much needed strength and roughness to this division. AEW needs to give these women plenty of time to tear it up in the ring and show that they do have talented wrestlers on their roster. Once the dust has settled in this hard-hitting bout, I fully expect to see the Dr. on top and slowly starting her rise to the Women’s Championship.

Next, we have the hottest faction in AEW – The Dark Order – facing off against The Natural Nightmares. The Dark Order got off to a rather slow start in AEW, but all of that has changed thanks to Mr. Brodie Lee. Brodie did what many other challengers simply couldn’t do, take the TNT Title away from Cody Rhodes. He has slowly started to build his evil empire and they have been laying waste to everyone in their path. Now Matt Cardona, Scorpio Sky, Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall find themselves on that path. While I like Matt Cardona joining AEW and still think the sky is the limit for Scorpio Sky, The Dark Order just have too much momentum behind them. I expect this to be a fast-paced match with The Dark Order standing tall once all is said and done.

One of the more interesting matches on this card is the Broken Rules match. Matt Hardy will not die, but that nasty chair shot didn’t add any youth to him. Sammy and Matt have had many run ins for the past few months and finally they end this blood feud at All Out. Though this match may be brutal, I fully expect Hardy to make Sammy a legit star after this match. It reminds me of when Randy Orton and Mick Foley killed each on a no holds barred fight, and after that, no one could deny that Randy was the future. I see the same happening here with Sammy, who hasn’t had much success in AEW other than joining The Inner Circle. That changes at All Out when Sammy picks up the biggest win in his young career and shows the wrestling world that he is not just a sidekick.

Shifting back to tag wrestling is a match that hasn’t had much storyline, but should be really fun: The Young Bucks vs. Jurassic Express. Part of the reason this match hasn’t had much build is because more attention has been placed on Hangman and him being kicked out of The Elite. Hangman cost the Bucks a chance at tag team gold, leaving them with an empty spot for All Out. Jurassic Express should provide a fun challenge for the Bucks, but I don’t see them winning this.

The Casino Battle Royale is loaded with talent, such as Murderhawk, Brian Cage and Darby Allin. AEW does battle royals better than any other company today; it never feels overcrowded and generally keeps storylines and feuds going during the mayhem. AEW also isn’t afraid to introduce new wrestlers in matches like this, case in point Brian Cage. If I had to pick one new superstar I would love to see debut here, it would be the wrestler formerly known as Rusev, Miro.

My gut tells me that if Miro does debut here, he will more than likely be the winner, but as far as my actual pick to win, it’s Darby Allin. In Jeff Hardy-like fashion, Allin is going to get rag dolled by a lot of the wrestlers in this match, but he doesn’t quit or back down from anyone and if he can play his cards right, he will secure a future AEW World Championship match.

AEW seems to have a good working relationship with the NWA and getting Thunder Rosa is huge. While Shida has been a decent champion, there has just been a huge lack of development and storytelling during her run. It would do wonders for the division if Rosa picks up the win here, creating a new storyline as a double champion.

FTR faces off against Hangman and Kenny Omega in a match that could change the landscape of AEW as we know it. Hangman has been kicked out of The Elite and the last we saw of Omega on Being The Elite, he dawned his famous Cleaner shades once again. Could we see the return of The Cleaner? That is still unclear, but the tension between him and Hangman are very clear. With all that extra tension, FTR is a sure bet to walk out the new AEW Tag Team Champions, but they won’t walk out alone. It has been teased for what seems like years, but at All Out we finally get what has been teased to us for so long…the new Four Horsemen. Hangman turns on Kenny in this match, costing them the gold. As the beat down on Omega continues, Cody will emerge from backstage, only to reveal that he is the fourth Horsemen.

Another chaotic match will follow when Jericho introduces us to the Mimosa Mayhem match. If anyone can get this idea over, it’s Jericho. This could finally cement Orange Cassidy as a top star. When it comes to Cassidy, you never know what he will do, but you know he is going to look beyond cool doing it. With this being the first match of its kind, I don’t know what to expect other than everyone will be entertained and Orange Cassidy will come up with the big win.

Last but not least, the future of AEW will finally become the present. Mox has been an excellent champion, but it’s MJF’s time. He has been nothing but money in his AEW run and he will outsmart Mox this time. He already has the Death Rider banned and will have his war dog Wardlow in his corner. It’s going to be a huge uphill battle for Mox, which he won’t be able to climb. It’s time for AEW to have a world champion made from its own ground.

MJF is AEW all the way and the best heel in any promotion today. His reign atop the wrestling world begins at All Out.
