WWE and Impact Wrestling allegedly to keep providing interesting content amidst the corona pandemic

WSOP breaks a seven-year record with the organization of an 18 tournament in an online circuit.

Most TV and live sports productions around the world have briefly shut down as a result of the current coronavirus pandemic. Though the shutdown has affected many production houses, two wrestling companies will keep filming. Companies like AEW halted production some days back but WWE and Impact Wrestling is allegedly going to continue providing viewers with exciting content.

Based on news provided by PW Insider and Fightful Select, WWE has plans to record episodes of Raw, Smackdown, and NXT that can extend right up to the 10th of May. Fightful reports that filming will commence on April 10 and run till April 16. Just like the pre-recorded shows that extend right up to WrestleMania, these episodes of WWE TV will hold in the actual Performance Center within a closed set but no fans will attend. WWE is allegedly putting new ropes, turnbuckles, and ring canvas just to name a few in the course of each match and avert the possibility of a talent constricting COVID-19.

PW Insider rumors equally state that Impact Wrestling will record about six or eight weeks of TV content in Nashville, Tennessee. Impact’s subsequent PPV, Rebellion that was initially programmed for April 19 in New York may be included in the next recording.

Both WWE and Impact will be recorded in states that have the “stay-at-home” orders, and where non-important businesses are temporarily closed. Pro wrestling is not on Florida’s or Tennessee’s lists of important activities but it is likely the companies could have gotten distinct exceptions.
