KM & Fallah Bahh Team Up With Santa

Sevenhorns Publishing has released its newest Impact Wrestling-themed children’s book.

It’s been nearly 45 years since Jingle and Jangle helped save Christmas, and now a new duo has come to Santa Claus’ aid.

In a new children’s book, KM and Fallah Bahh have joined forces with jolly, ol’ St. Nick to recapture the North Pole from the evil Frost Elves: Flurry, Blizzard and Ice Block. “They sound like a tag team straight out of the Power Plant,” Bahh told The Wrestling Estate.

He and KM are the latest Impact Wrestling stars to be featured in a SevenHorns Publishing book. “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Brawl! and He’s Bringing KM & Fallah Bahh” is available online and in bookstores everywhere. The popular duo have teamed up with writer and DC Comics artist Mark Poulton (responsible for “Anything Is Possible: The Eddie Edwards Story”) to create a fun tale for the holiday season, which also stars Bahh’s imaginary panda Francis and KM’s real-life ferret Dexter.

“All my friends and family think it’s the coolest thing ever,” KM says.

Wrestling fans do as well, as evidenced by Amazon quickly selling out of the book one day after KM broke the news via Twitter. It’s no surprise considering how popular the unlikely pairing has become since uniting in the spring. Initially, KM bullied the one-word speaking, 400-pounder. But the Brooklyn loudmouth eventually warmed up to Bahh’s innocence and gentle heart.

It wasn’t that much of a stretch; after all, they’ve been friends behind the scenes for over a decade. Before coming to Impact Wrestling, both veterans (19 years in the ring for KM, 13 years for Bahh) called New Jersey-based WrestlePro their home promotion. Coincidentally, they were both signed to Impact on the same day. According to KM, Jeff Jarrett brought him in and Abyss recruited Bahh. They weren’t slated to be partners, but their chemistry was undeniable.

“All the stuff we’re doing on television is what we do backstage,” Bahh says. “It’s a nod to everything we’ve done as friends.”

Before teaming with Bahh, KM was bouncing around in different storylines, portraying Sienna’s cousin and trying out for American Top Team. He found his calling after buddying up with Bahh, donning his sumo-style garb, wrestling barefoot and somehow becoming the only person to translate Bahh-ese.

“I was never against anything,” KM says. “There are a lot of guys who take themselves way too seriously. Even on Twitter, fans will say, ‘aw, you should be taken more seriously.’ I don’t think that way. If it’s over, it’s over. I’ll wear a pink tutu – I have no shame. If the fans like it in person and on TV and if it’s generating buzz, that’s a lot cooler than playing a big, bad guy on TV and nobody giving a crap.”

The Fallah Bahh character existed well before Impact Wrestling called. Originally, Bahh was a Samoan savage with face paint, a modern-day Umaga, if you will. But WrestlePro promoter Pat Buck suggested that Bahh develop a sumo character because of his visual similarities to Yokozuna. Instead of speaking English (or Japanese for that matter), Bahh decided to utter a one-word phrase that fans could latch onto – Bahh. “Fallah Bahh is a cartoon character,” Bahh says. “It’s a mixture of Pokémon and Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy. I’m surprised at how far it has gone. It came from the grassroots indies to television. Now it’s in a book. It blows my mind.”

With the Eddie Edwards’ book being such a success, Sevenhorns Publishing suggested that Mark Poulton do more wrestling-themed children’s books. A New Jersey native, Poulton had been following Fallah Bahh and KM since their days in WrestlePro and was really happy for them when they made it to Impact Wrestling.

“I just thought their tag team and chemistry together would be perfect for a children’s book,” Poulton says. “I can’t take credit for the Christmas idea. Fallah does a lot of wrestling appearances in December as Fallah Claus, so it works perfectly for him and KM. Plus, you can work his name into the lyrics of Deck The Halls. Fa la la la la, Fallah Bahh!”

Perhaps the overwhelmingly positive feedback for the new book will impress Scarlett Bordeaux, whose breathtaking beauty has captivated Bahh and KM, inspiring them to reach greater heights such as challenging former world champion Austin Aries and current Tag Team Champions LAX.

“The chemistry with Scarlett is there,” KM says. “We’re given free rein in our promos and segments. Usually, it’s a one-and-done shoot and we laugh the whole time. The three of us enjoy working with each other.”

Both KM and Bahh, as well as Poulton, believe a Halloween sequel would be worthwhile. “Maybe the panda and ferret are terrified and get stolen, and then Fallah and I are like Scooby Doo trying to find them,” KM says. “Let’s call it the Fallahween Spectacular.”

You can order “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Brawl! and He’s Bringing KM & Fallah Bahh” on Amazon.
